Here's a site oddity from about two weeks ago. After a period of reduced hits, my Sitemeter suddenly went crazy, recording twice the usual number of hits. When I checked the detailed stats, I discovered something interesting. The new hits were coming in all over the world. Take a look at the world map:



Among the countries represented: Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Norway, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Malaysia. They all showed up on the same day - no comments, no emails, no hints in the referrers as to what sent them all here. And then they were gone, back into the ether. To this day I have no idea what brought them all here.

It is a mystery.
